- Stabilising notions to make your top
- Kym’s expert guidance and company for the day 🙂
- Plenty of Tea, Coffee and biscuits to keep you going throughout the workshop.
- Homemade Cake!
SKILL LEVEL: This workshop is perfect for those new to sewing with stretch fabrics (or in need of a refresher). It would be helpful if you have completed at least one basic dressmaking project before but this is not essential. You should already be confident using your sewing machine. If you are new to using a sewing machine but are interested in this class, please contact Kym for some more information. Get in touch here or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will need to bring your sewing machine with a compatible ballpoint/jersey needle, the fabric and matching thread for your top. All other materials and tools will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch (or this can be ordered as an extra after booking if you prefer).
If your sewing machine does not have a zig-zag or stretch stitch setting, please get in touch before booking this workshop.
Please Note: The pattern we will be working with is graded for bust 76cm – 122cm (30″ – 48″) and waist 61cm – 106.5cm (24″ – 42″). Please feel free to get in touch if you are outside these measurements and would like to join this workshop.
Depending on how quickly you sew, there may be a little finishing off to do at home. You will leave with all the knowledge you need to continue if this is the case.
Need to borrow a sewing machine for the workshop? We have a limited number of machines that can be hired for the duration of the workshop. Please get in touch before booking to check availability.
This workshop is also available as a 1-2-1 session – Contact me for more info!
