Time: 10am – 4pm

Venue: The Old Dairy, Muncaster Castle

Join special guest tutor Charlotte Newland in the grounds of the magnificent Muncaster Castle and enjoy a day of patchwork and laughter.

Make Charlotte’s very own ‘Triangle Magic Quilt’ using Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) techniques. The sewing superhero will demystify this method as she guides you through every step, as well as sharing all those stories about her time on the BBC’s Sewing Bee!

This workshop includes:
*Your own copy of the Triangle Magic pattern, signed by Charlotte.
*Charlotte’s company and award-winning expertise all day!
*Light Lunch
*Refreshments to keep you going

SKILL LEVEL: This is an intermediate level sewing workshop designed for those who have completed a few patchwork projects already, but are new to (or wish to refine their skills with) the Foundation Paper Piecing technique.

You will need to bring along your own sewing machine and accessories for this workshop, as well as the materials for your patchwork. Everything else will be included.

Please note: We will be working on just the quilt top in the workshop. Charlotte will share tips on how to quilt and bind your work at home. You may not finish the quilt top during class but you will leave with all the knowledge and skills to continue.

Fabric requirements for the project will be sent out after booking.

Before booking please take a look at my Workshop Policy. By booking a MAKE! The Lakes workshop you agree to the terms outlined. A copy of this Policy can be found here.

MAKE! The Lakes creative workshops and classes take place in the stunning surroundings of The Lake District, Cumbria.
